It's been so long since last I blogged. And after such an absence, it's very difficult to start again. But my friend wisely said today, "Sometimes you have to let go of an imperfect post." There's a tendency to overthink blog content, to rework sentences and to retouch photos. But sometimes, you have to step back and just let it be published.After being eyeball-deep in work for about 8 weeks, I've taken about 3 weeks to de-pressurise. It's like slowly ascending to the surface after deep-sea diving. You can't go too fast, or you'll get the bends. I capped off the recovery process with a mini-break and enjoyed - all too briefly - the life of a lady of leisure.
The workplace is radically different now. Old faces have been replaced by new blood. The work is new too. And more changes lie ahead.
I think I will let go now and publish this. :)
