"The only thing I'll regret is leaving you," he said.Hearing that, I decided to publish my angsty post. It came to me one idle moment while musing about Brokeback Mountain. Hill Street Blues As long as we stay up on Hill Street, everything will be fine. We'll be together 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Communing over food and cigarettes. Commiserating on harsh working conditions and keeping each other motivated. But always at the mercy of our foreman who could fire us at anytime. Yet, once we've left Hill Street, that will be the end of us. For we won't have an excuse to be together anymore. He says we will meet "once in a while" but as it is, we rarely hang out after work and he has legislated that "weekends are for the wife". *sigh* He was a friend of minehear the song: (sample) 0 Comments:
