Congrats to J.D. for being THE ROCKSTAR!

Congrats to INXS for being complete.

Come Nov 29, I'll be lining up to buy your new CD "Switch". Hope there's a simultaneous worldwide release. *crosses fingers* Meanwhile, I'll sort out the payment snafu and buy the mp3s from MSN Music. Can't wait til Oct 4 for the "Pretty Vegas" single!

I took leave this morning to watch the finale and I'm so happy J.D. won. It was a nerve-racking show up until the final result!

MiG and his ripped bod evokes a visceral response and is the perfect eye-candy for my pr0n siteblog. But his ultra-sweet persona was getting on my nerves. That kind of Disney personality works for a cute nerd like Clay Aiken but definitely not for a rockstar. But now he can go back to playing Galilieo in the Queen musical "We Will Rock You". Or maybe even reprise his Angel role in "Rent". (I would love to own his version of Rent. Anyone know where to find it?)

But J.D. impressed me from the first performance show with his original arrangement of "California Dreaming". And each week, he tried to make each song his own - whether or not he got his song of choice.

The fact that he's the BadBoy of the rockstar mansion just made me adore him more. He's probably the most tattoo-ed of the bunch but his tats are beautiful! His angel wings are a piece of art! He was also responsible for a lot of the "drama" but hey, his fans all love him for that. One memorable episode, he had artistic differences with his team and chose to stick to his own vision. Now his song "Pretty Vegas" is like a huge hit! Guess he got the last laugh.

And it's a joy to read his Blog. Unlike MiG who sounds like he's writing to his parents from bandcamp, J.D.'s tone and style is more mature and personal. I love it that he talked about donating his prize car to a New Orleans family, while MiG just went on about how excited he is to have won a car.

In his pitch on why he should be chosen, J.D. said, "if you still believe in your dreams, the way I believe in my dreams, then maybe that's a reason why."
