Tooting my own horn:NHB's youth initiative a big hit
In a brief article in ST (p H4), it was noted that NHB's youth initiative has drawn more than twice the youngsters it targeted. Project M's 42 events and activities, held between July 2004 and last month, attracted 174,000 young people--well over its aim of 70,000. The project aimed to generate interest in Singapore's heritage and museums. More than 90 per cent of 382 participants in a survey said they would visit the museums again, and over half said they would recommend them to friends.
