As a Blogger, I received a Gmail invitation early on. And since my friends are all Bloggers, they too received a Gmail invitation and I did not need to use any of my 6 invitations (which one receives upon setting up a Gmail account). Only recently did I send an invitation. It was given to one of my colleagues as a "reward" for doing some work on my division's behalf. And I still had 5 left.

Today I logged on and saw that I had 50!!! invites left. This must be a typo, I thought, but upon surfing gmailswap and other related sites, turns out this is true. Whoa!

Gmail is quite a good free email account. I've never even noticed the ads. And the way the emails are grouped is suberb! Its so anal!!! Yay!

So go get one! If you need an invitation (which you probably already have) you can reach me at (my unoriginal address) amyemail at gmail dot com.

One last rant. Usernames need to be 6 characters long at least. So I could not get amy@gmail.com. Sobs! And amyamy@ just seems TOO egoistical. Sigh.
