It's like GC all over again!
I have this metrosexual boss who is a self-proclaimed anal-retentive. And sometimes I swear he's the REAL twin of TC Chang. They have the same mannerism, speech patterns and approach to event management. Uncanny. Today he had a mini-panic just like TC used to have. Its so endearing.
Not to take anything away from Boss No.1, but I really, really like Boss No.2. The moment I was given "the magic file", I knew he was my kinda guy. The file is meticulous! And totally like what I did for GC. And when he said he was anal, the deal was sealed. I *heart* boss.
I also have a BIG boss, the Dy Dir, who unfortunately is like Victor Savage. Sigh. There's always one of them in every organisation.
AND... I have another supervisor, who has many admirable qualities that I'd love to emulate. I'd talk about her another day.
One thing though, she has inspired me to get pearl earrings. She wears a different one everyday. And ever since I met her, I keep noticing so many other people wearing pearls. I want to be the girl with the pearl earring too!
Yes, I can already hear Keemin saying: "Just when I thought you couldn't get anymore matronly...". If no one discourages me from this, I'll go get my ears re-pierced next month. Whee! White pearls, pink pearls, grey pearls.... MIKIMOTO PEARLS!!!
