I have been on a Japanese food binge. Very Bad Amy! VERY BAD!

Thurs: the Oois and I were supposed to eat Indian/Malay food at Al-Amin but we decided to try out the Jap restaurant that was nearby. I had the unagi (eel) and tempura set.

Sun: the Geog Soc gals couldn't decide where in Plaza Sing to eat, so I suggested either Jap or Thai. Since Shan didn't want Thai, we ate at Ichiban Sushi Ramen Restaurant, where I had the seafood paper steamboat (kaminabe), something which I have only came across once before. I also had sushi with beancurd, seaweed, pickle, cucumber and avacado (forgot the fancy name).

Mon: Boss brought me to Mizuho Japanese Restaurant. This is where I first encountered kaminabe, but unfortunately, they don't serve it for lunch. So I had the unagi bento (yes, again).

Tues: I had prawn takoyaki for lunch. But I felt that didn't really count as Jap food, so for dinner I had inari maki sushi (or tau pok roll, as the salesgirl called it) and unagi bento (yup, again, again).

Tomorrow I am going out with Peiee and I don't think we'll eat Jap food. But maybe she will offer me some of the green tea that she brought from Japan...
