Cos I figured Shan or somebody would ask if Troy was worth watching, here is an alternative (to Len's) review by Arysteia. A good enough review i think; measured and comprehensive.

While surfing around from that journal I found another review by an advance degree in art history-yet silly fangirl type person, but I felt she ranted on too much. Good (and rare!) insight on the stylistic and design choices on the movie though. I am however more in awe that she apparently lives the life I covet. OMFG. Freaking PHD in Art!?! Dealing with antiquities and avant-garde art on a daily freaking basis??? Having discussions with professors, collectors and whatnot?!? I weep for my pathetic excuse of a career...

And in my opinion, if you can waste $8.50 watching crappy Adam Sandler movies, then spending the same amount of money on Troy is so much more worth it.
