Geek Notes

Has everyone seen Hellboy (2004) yet? Anyone remember the BPRD logo? It appears here on Scud's t-shirt.



And who is Scud? Josh 'Scud' Frohmeyer (played by Norman Reedus) is a character from Blade II (2002) where that movie still was taken from.

It's interesting to note that Guillermo del Toro directed both comics-to-film adaptations. (Hellboy is a Dark Horse comic, while Blade comes from Marvel comics.)

Also, Ron Perlman who acted as Hellboy was also in Blade II (as Dieter Reinhardt).

So this wardrobe choice was perhaps a nod/wink to those in the know. How cool. Geeky and totally irrelevant trivia, but cool nonetheless.
