I have resigned from my job. I did it last night over after-dinner drinks at HV Coffee Club. Rather unusual place for a resignation and a very emotional, non-professional resignation it was too. But it's done. Finally! Phew!
My assistant/replacement signs her contract today (hopefully no more delays). However, she can only start work on 22nd April. I have decided that I can no longer put my life on hold, thus the pushing forward of my resignation date.
Now, it's the slow and painful serving out of the notice period. I worry about what he and the rest will do. Love can so easily turn to hate. But I will persevere. Go, me!
