I went to see "Ned Kelly" on Saturday with Pei Ee, Pearly, Man (Pearly's BF), Keemin and Huan Jie (KM's guy fren). On Sunday I watched "Ned Kelly" with Yanshan.

Yup, that's 2 days in a row.

But I have to emphasise that this was YANSHAN's idea. (Although she didn't exactly have to hold a gun to my head either...) She's such a beast! (NK in-joke)

YS found out at the last minute that she couldn't go for Saturday's show, so I gave the ticket to Huan Jie. Which turned out to be a good thing, as he actually has read the book ("Our Sunshine") that the movie was based on. But fortunately, she was able to make it for our other movie "Man Who Sued God". Afterwards, while we were exiting the cinema, she overheard several people saying how good "NK" was and she decided that she wanted to see it too. So we watched 2 movies back-to-back.

Which brings me to the actual point of this post...

I noticed that Emily Browning was in both movies! She was Rebecca Myers in "MWSG" (filmed in 2001) and Grace Kelly in "NK" (filmed in 2003).

From IMDB, I learnt that she has also been in other major movies like "Ghost Ship" and "Darkness Falls". And will be in the up-coming, gonna-be-a-block-buster-children's-movie "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", playing Violet Baudelaire. Not bad for a 15-year-old!

This is her in "MWSG". "NK" picture will come later.

"But my biggest highlight was meeting Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom during the filming of 'Ned Kelly'. They were both really, really nice; but Orlando is my favourite."
Taken from Australia's "Dolly" magazine, "100% Reality"

Pearly would say EB has good taste. While Shan would say the opposite. LOL!
