Right now I'm hanging out in Len's room, sipping JD, surfing the net and trying to figure out what to blog about.
Think I'll start with how we got here. We were waiting for the shuttle bus at the OED bus-stop, expecting it to take forever (since its an off-peak period) when a taxi pulled up. "Odd place for a taxi to stop," said Len. It turns out that the passenger, an international student, needed directions to PGP. So, being a free-loader, I asked the driver if we could hitch a ride, afterall, we were headed for the same place. I was too shy to initiate a conversation with him (the passenger), and only enquired where he was headed to in PGP (thus I don't know his name, nationality or faculty). After escorting him to the check-in counter, Len and I went for dinner at the PGP canteen before heading back to Len's place. Visiting Len is almost like a ritual, cos I find myself doing the exact same things (in the exact same order) I did the last time I was here. Which explains the JD, which I now like less than before. Ah well, perhaps I'm meant to be a teetotaller afterall. That should make a few people happy. We just saw this incredibly hilarious short film: "Rainbow War". It was even nominated for the 1985 Oscars for "Best Live Action Short Film" Try to download it off his computer if you can, it's really something! ![]() 0 Comments:
