Despite my grand plans, the past week started off fairly boring, with me doing the usual things I do. Things only picked up mid-week, and to quote Kai “It never rains, it golden showers”.

On Wednesday, I found myself dragged to a family gathering, or as I like to call it ‘Death By Boredom’. To make things worse than they normally are, both my sisters didn’t turn up, so I was left with absolutely nobody to talk to. Well, I could have talked to my aunts and heard all about their various ailments OR conversed with my (much older) cousins and listen to them talk about house-wifely stuff. Yawn!!! But somehow I survived to tell the tale.

Which brings me to Thursday when I met YS for shopping and dinner at Bugis. We went to Fraiche (a Marche wannabe) for the first and hopefully last time. It had its charms but they were few and far between. Shopping with her was delightful, as always. I'm really going to miss her when she goes abroad. :`(

Actually, the highlight of the day happened earlier, with someone else. It was a disturbing experience, which left me upset and depressed all Friday. However, time heals all wounds and now I'm back to my chirpy self. I don't have time to tell the story now, but I'll do it soon.
